- Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) will be organizing the 50 Years Transformation of Malaysian Trade and Industry Exhibition which will be held in MECC, Menara MATRADE from 6th to the 23rd of December 2007.
- The 50 Years Transformation of Malaysian Trade and Industry Exhibition is an event that is aimed to bring together the prominent/major players from the trade and industrial sector, as well as students and the general public to celebrate Malaysia’s growth and development through out 50 years. To create awareness amongst the general public, students and others on the transformation of Malaysia’s trade and industrial sectors over the past five decades, this exhibition will showcase Malaysia’s achievements as an exporting nation and a centre for trade and investments, displaying the products and industry sectors that have contributed to the growth of the Malaysian economy.
- To generate greater visitor flow to the event, other activities that will be held outdoor which include entertainment programs generally to attract the younger Malaysian generation. These include urban and street art showcase, extreme sports demonstrations, workshops on batik canting, fashion parade by upcoming local designers and many more. We are also expecting many types of visitors from locals to foreigner, students to executives, as the event itself not only aimed for the trade and industry related personnel but the general public.
